Ms. Kats is the President and Owner of Kats, Jamison, Van der Veen & Associates. She Received her J.D. and L.L.M in Trial Advocacy from Temple Law School in 1988.
Marina Kats has been a driving force behind her firm's growth and success in civil and criminal litigation. Featured as one of Philadelphia's "Super Lawyers" (Philadelphia Magazine, June ' 04) and "Woman of the Year" (Real Philly Magazine, January ' 05) Marina was named "Consumer Advocate of the Year" for three consecutive last years.
She is a member of the Bar Association of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York & Washington D.C. Ms. Kats is also a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the board for Consumer Advocates, the Centennial Society & the Governor's Club.
Marina achieves great success in business honored as "One of the 50 Best Business Women in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania". A single mother of two daughters she still finds time to serve charitable, civic and religious organizations including Temple University, Federation of Jewish Family Services, HIAS, and the Board of Trustees for Einstein Medical Center. Ms. Kats currently is the President of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce and conducts regular lectures to its members on legal and civic issues. |
