Michael T. van der Veen, Esq.

Michael is a 1985 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. After receiving his BA from OWU he attended the University of Bridgeport School of Law where he earned a JD in 1988. After practicing criminal defense in Chicago, Illinois for five years, he moved to the Philadelphia area. Michael graduated from Temple Law School's LLM in trial advocacy with highest honors in 1995. He has been with Kats, Jamison, van der Veen & Associates since the firms birth. His area of expertise is exclusively litigation. Michael does an enormous amount of charity work for the American Diabetes Association where he currently sits on the Board of Directors.

Robert J. Baccari, Esq.
Robert graduated "with distinction" from Pennsylvania State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While an undergraduate, Robert served on the Pre-Law Society and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Robert graduated "cum laude" from Temple University School of Law in 1996 with a Juris Doctorate. During law school, Robert was a member of the Temple Law Review from 1994 to 1996, during which he published an article in Volume 68:2 of the law review. Robert also served as the Business Editor of the Temple Law Review from 1995 to 1996. Prior to joining Kats, Jamison, Van der Veen & Associates, Robert worked as an associate for the law firm of Rothschild, O'Brien & Frankel in Philadelphia. While there, Robert served as the firm's liaison to the Philadelphia Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division. Robert also served as an Instructor in the Temple LEAP Mock Trial Competition. In addition to practicing law, Robert is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association, Philadelphia Chapter.
