Attorney Carlos G. Rodríguez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in August 1975.  In May 1993, he graduated high school from Fajardo Academy in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.  In August 1993, he moved to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 

In December 1996, he graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, in State College, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law and a Business Minor.  While in college, he received The Pennsylvania State University Superior Academic Achievement Award, The Pennsylvania State University Dean’s List Recognition, and The Puerto Rican Student Association’s Academic Performance Award. 

In June 2000, he graduated from Duquesne University School of Law, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a Juris Doctorate’s degree.  While in law school, he completed a trial court clerkship with the Honorable Judge John A. Zottola, in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division, and then worked as a certified legal intern at the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, Investigative Unit, until he obtained his law license. 

In July 2000, he passed both Pennsylvania and New Jersey’s bar exams, and was eventually admitted to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the New Jersey Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. 

In October 2000, he started working in the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as a criminal prosecutor.  During this time, he completed various courses at The Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute, including Basic Prosecutor’s Course and Prosecuting Homicide Cases. 

In March 2003, he moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he started working in the Lehigh County Public Defender’s Office as a criminal defense counsel until March 2006. During this time, he completed the Pennsylvania Defender Trial Skills Training at The Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

In January 2004, he started his own law practice in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  He concentrates in personal injury and workers’ compensation.  He is a good standing member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lehigh County Bar Association.

He is also a Better Business Bureau’s Auto Line Arbitrator, Lehigh County’s Civil Arbitrator, Pennsylvania’s Public Notary, Member of the Diocesan Pastoral Council for the Diocese of Allentown and Black Belt in Kung Fu.
