I come to you through my founded organization, 'In The Name Of Humanity' with the hope that your office will take a strong interest into my case, to make my case a prime example of the wrong doing of corrupt landlords against innocent tenants, such as myself, here in Rome, NY.
I am 61 years old, physically disabled (high bp, muscle disorder) and I receive SSD benefits and I am also receiving Section 8 from Rome Housing Authority.
I moved into my apartment on 9//2011. I live above a very mean, elderly couple who has lived here for 17 years. The landlord has allowed them to harass me on a day to day basis. I was physically assaulted by the elderly man twice, once in front of my 25 year old grandaughter and her friend while going to my storage unit in the basement. Both times, he lunged at me while calling me, "god damned bum and piece of shit, " while nearly causing me to fall backwards both times. When I informed my landlord about this, his reply was, "well if anyone goes, it won't be them."
After the 3rd week of living here, I received a phone call from my landlord stating that he received a complaint against me that I was throwing trash from my bathroom window onto the ground. I told him that I would never do such a terrible thing and that I had just seen the man below me, doing exactly that, while another tenant backed her truck up to his window and caught his trash and placed it into her truck. My landlord then replied, ..."well just don't do it again."
I have never had heat in my apartment, even though they have flushed out my water based heaters. There are so many other things that the tenants below me have done, that have literally caused my health to deteriorate. My physician has had to double certain medications and now he is sending me to a neurologist because this mental torture has literally taken a toll on my body. I am now walking with a cane.
I have received 2 horrible letters from my landlord telling me that he has received complaints that I have called the elderly man below me, foul names, when in fact, I never use foul language, I am a Christian and I love GOD with all of my heart. The letters say that they will not renew my lease in July of this year and that I am to move out in June.
I am completely innocent of all false complaints against me. I am the best tenant a landlord could ever want. I am quiet, considerate and I love my neighbor as myself. I truly believe that I am simply a victim of landlord abuse and neglect.
I don't want to move. I love my apartment and even though I must pay 60.00 extra per month for my 2 little elderly housebroken dogs, I am so happy here. I told my physician that my apartment is like my little heaven on earth.
Please help me to fight this uncaring and neglectful landlord? I want to sue him for allowing his tenants below me to cause me to suffer terribly. He has violated his own lease that states that, in no way shall a tenant be allowed to harass another tenant. The elderly man below me, goes through our dumpsters on a day to day basis with a spear and tears open our trash, and the landlord simply allows him to do this.
I have notified the Attorney General's office and they sent me information about my rights as a tenant. I am now going to hold meetings for the other tenants, to discuss our rights.
I have all the proof I need to sue this landlord and win. I truly hope that you will take my case. Time is of the essence.

charged with violation penal code 450.20 filing false incident report when after filling a monthly prescription for my xanax, bottle stating it contained 90 tablets when it only had 15. I was never told by pharmacy about the shortage and they altered the recieipt by placing "owe 75" at bottom which I never saw so I thought they had been stolen. Pharmacy apologized, counceled pharmasist the next day and corrected my prescription. I never saw the writing on the repecipt and after much searching with no avail to fing the missing pills I contacted the police and told them verbally of the situation....officer seached my car found reciept and pointed out the " owe 75" but now states I Knowingliy filed a false report. He never asked for my phone # but states I gave him a disconnected one. He made up the number and as he had the pharmacy reciept in his possesion with my name address and correct phone # it is questionable police practice. I was arrested at work 8 days after I went to the police station as they suggested I do when I called them the night I discovered the pills missing.

I ordered a product on a trail basis. It was an electronic cigarette. I received the product and it was faulty. The filter leak pure nicotine in your mouth which is very dangerous. Even more for me because I am a high risk pregnancy. I orded it to help me quick smoking because of the pregnancy. I tried several times to contact the company I bought it from and they will ot cal me back. it goes straight to voice mail, if you can even get that when calling, and I have had no replys. I tried to email my concerns to the address I was givin when I ordered the product and it turned out o be a fake email add. I contacted my bank in fear they would try to take more money and found out yes they did. they charged another 100.0 to my account even thou I wanted to cancel any further transaction. I tried for several days to contact them. this a scam and I dont think they should get away with it. I have to cancel my account now to stop them from trying to take more money in the future the stress of this whole thing has put my pregnancy at seroius risk.
