Located on the Courthouse Square in the Fifth/Third Bank Building in downtown Valparaiso, Blachly, Tabor, Bozik & Hartman - Lawyers on the Square - has provided a full range of legal services to Northwest Indiana residents since 1961. Before an attorney can truly understand a legal issue and offer meaningful advice, an attorney must know the client and client’s needs and objectives. Essentially, an attorney must be a good listener. An attorney must also be patient. Quickly filing a lawsuit may satisfy a client’s initial urge for action; however, thoughtful planning, legal research and client consultation can often achieve equal or superior results.
At Blachly, Tabor, Bozik and Hartman, we strive to know our clients so we can offer comprehensive advice. Whether drafting a contract, preparing a dissolution settlement, addressing terms of a will, evaluating a settlement offer, filing a bankruptcy , or simply providing advice of a general nature, we seek to know, understand and counsel our clients.

Active in many community activities and enterprises and raising their own families in Northwest Indiana, lawyers and support staff members at Blachly, Tabor, Bozik & Hartman have a compassionate understanding of the problems and issues which lead individuals and families to seek legal counsel. From estate planning and business organization to claims resulting from traumatic injuries or work related accidents, the firm assures every client personal attention, thorough representation and competent counsel
