For several decades, WCC has successfully represented public entities and private individuals in major litigation. In the 1980's, WCC successfully defended the "Big Rock Mesa Landslide" litigation, then touted as the largest litigation in the country. In the 1990's, WCC represented a variety of claimants in litigation ranging from the Lockheed pollution in Burbank and then defended the Hollywood MTA street collapse cases. In 2001, WCC received two of the top ten largest verdicts in the state of California. In 2005, WCC secured the largest settlement in the history of Santa Barbara County.
