Christopher J. Lawler was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Economics from Rockhurst College in 1998. He received his Juris Doctor in from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Law in 2002.
For two years, Chris clerked for the Honorable C. William Kramer and the Honorable Jack Grate, both judges of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri before joining the McCallister Law Firm. In that role, he was closely involved with nearly two dozen jury trials ranging from complex civil cases, domestic cases, and serious felonies.Since joining the firm, Chris has tried a number of personal injury cases to a jury. He has tried cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, defective products, and insurance agent negligence. Chris is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas.
Chris is an active member of the KCMBA Young Lawyers Section, and presently serves on the Board. He also serves on the on KCMBA's torts committee, social committee, and public service committee. He is a member of the Ross T. Roberts Chapter of the American Inns of Court. He recieved the President's Award in 2006 for his extensive work with the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. He is also a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and is actively involved with MATA.
