Charles N. Rock
Charles Rock is an Advocate in the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, National College of Advocacy. He believes in the effectiveness of trial by jury and dedicates his time to helping those who've fallen and suffered personal losses through the negligent actions and choices made by others.
Mr. Rock grew up in a family of physicians and became a lawyer believing that all doctors practiced their profession in the manner in which he was accustomed; that is, providing excellent care and compassion, dedicated to their work. But within a short time of working for Bower & Gardner, one of New York City's most powerful medical malpractice defense firms, he realized that many people do not receive that level of care and compassion. He learned that when doctors fail to conform to minimum standards of their profession the consequences can be overwhelming, destroying the livelihood, health, and ability to pursue happiness that patient once had, tearing apart the families.
In medical malpractice litigation, Mr. Rock and his partner, Sam Rosmarin now only represent victims. Cases are accepted only after close and careful scrutiny of the merits. First and foremost, no doctor or hospital will be sued unless there is substantial evidence that the care rendered departed from the accepted standards. If it becomes clear during discovery that a defendant practiced appropriately, that party will be discontinued from the case. Rock & Rosmarin, LLP pursues only meritorious claims and works vigorously but fairly for their client's cause. Rock & Rosmarin, LLP believes that by doing so we improve the quality of life in our community and the respect for our profession.
Mr. Rock also practices extensively in toxic tort litigation, particularly representing children adversely affected by lead poisoning. This silent toxin causes far reaching and life long disabilities, especially to the brain of the young child, preventing that child from fulfilling his or her God given potential. The costs to society in allowing a child to become lead poisoned are substantial and we have known of the problem for far too long to accept this.

Sam Rosmarin
Sam Rosmarin, trial lawyer, has tried medical malpractice, general liability, product liability, automobile cases and more, throughout New York.
