Kurt Holzer, John Edwards & Matt Harrison are trial lawyers working on the side of injured people  -- not insurance companies or other corporations. The firm handles cases for people harmed by negligent or wrongful conduct of others and cases against insurance companies who engage in unfair claim practices.

The firm’s practice is primarily limited to personal injury and trials. While regarded as a trial firm, we are proud of our track record of successfully resolving a high percentage of claims through negotiation and/or mediation. This firm is proud of its ability to handle complex and/or multi-party litigation.

The law firm you choose makes a difference. Kurt Holzer, John Edwards and Matt Harrison have earned a reputation for excellence among judges, lawyers and insurance claim handlers. The firm has, for several years, been involved in injury claims originating with other law firms, and the firm enthusiastically associates with other attorneys to litigate difficult or complex cases requiring our courtroom expertise, extraordinary costs or specialized skills. The trial team at Holzer, Edwards & Harrison brings professionalism, integrity, preparedness and intelligence to the fight for justice on behalf of their clients.

Lawyers on the Side of People

Insurance companies and major corporations can afford to choose from among the best lawyers money can buy. They know that cases turn on the quality of the lawyers working on their side. Kurt Holzer, John Edwards & Matt Harrison bring excellence in representation to the side of people. Holding insurance companies, corporations and professionals accountable for their wrongful acts, sometimes against all odds, is what we do. We have the experience, resources -- and moxie -- necessary to stand up to, and succeed against, the regional and national "mega-firms" hired to serve the interests of those who seek to avoid being held accountable.

Holzer, Edwards & Harrison is committed to the view that justice is guaranteed to all, not just wealthy corporations. We believe in the civil justice system, juries and right of trial by jury. We know that zealous, intelligent, well-prepared representation serves the interests of our clients, but also serves to make our communities safer and better places to live. For this reason our civil justice system is vital to the future of our community, state and nation.

Superior Preparation and Readiness for Trial = Full Value for Your Claim

It seems that many firms are high volume – running injured clients through like cattle to market. Clients are herded in and quickly (and inadequately compensated) hurried out. Anyone can settle a case for less than its fair value – but that is not justice. Obtaining full justice, however, requires far more. The best trial lawyers understand that to obtain full and fair compensation , it is necessary to combine excellent judgment, superior preparation, credible experts, and knowledge of medicine, economics and insurance practices with well-developed trial techniques and a complete understanding of the applicable law, court procedures and evidence rules.

Holzer, Edwards & Harrison is very selective about the cases we take and the clients we choose to represent because we understand the total commitment required by each new client and each new case. We prepare each case knowing that the goal is to obtain full and fair compensation , not just "a quick settlement," and that the only way to achieve this goal is to demonstrate absolute readiness for trial, even in the most complex of cases.

The firm's practice is primarily limited to personal injury and trials. While regarded as a trial firm, we are proud of our track record of successfully resolving a high percentage of claims through negotiation and/or mediation. This firm is proud of its ability to handle complex and/or multi-party litigation.
