About Richard Adler
Richard H. Adler is an honors graduate of Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1980.
As an attorney and managing partner for the AV rated law offices of Adler
Giersch PS, Mr. Adler's legal practice is exclusively dedicated to representing victims of traumatic brain injury, traumatic spinal injury, and traumatic musculoskeletal injury.
Mr. Adler's extensive legal and medical knowledge is widely recognized. He authored Whiplash, Spinal Trauma, and Personal Injury Case; Medical Aspects of Soft Tissue Injuries; and Survival Guide: Chiropractic Practice Guidelines. He is currently writing Brain Injury 101: A Guide to Better Traumatic Brain Injury and Personal Injury 101: A Guide for the Injured. Both publications are due out in 2005.
Mr. Adler co-produced several educational and instructional videos for doctors on testifying at deposition and trial with Dan Murphy, DC, DABCO. About John R. Alexander
JOHN R. ALEXANDER received his Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law in 1977. He is a 1974 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. He is licensed to practice law in Washington (1978) and California (1977). Mr. Alexander entered private practice in 1982 and has represented personal injury victims exclusively since 1984. He joined Adler
Giersch PS in 1993. Mr. Alexander has represented clients in over 75 jury trials and has served as an arbitrator numerous times in personal injury matters. He is the primary attorney at the Adler Giersch PS, Everett, Washington office.

Mr. Alexander has served as an instructor for the People's Law School, which provides legal information to community members. ABOUT BETSYLEW R. MIALE-GIX
BETSYLEW R. MIALE-GIX received degrees in History and Political Science from UCLA in 1981, then a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 1984. Since being called to the bar in 1984, she has specialized in general civil litigation and personal injury law, as both defense and plaintiff counsel. Since 1996, she has exclusively represented persons injured by the wrongful acts of others at Adler Giersch PS. Ms. Miale-Gix has contributed articles to the publication "The Advocate", co-authored the educational pamphlet "Common Legal Terms in a Personal Injury Case", and manages the Adler Giersch websites. She has co-chaired as well as spoken at legal seminars on various issues of law and practice.

Ms. Miale-Gix is a member of the Board of Governors of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and has been nominated for an officer position as well as serving on the legislative committee. Other professional associations include the American Association for Justice, Million Dollar Advocate Forum as well as the Washington State and Snohomish County Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Washington. Ms. Miale-Gix has successfully handled many cases, including one of national note which established new law in Washington recognizing the right to recover for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as bodily injury under Uninsured Motorist Coverage.
Ms. Miale-Gix is the Membership VP for the Everett branch of the American Association of University Women of Washington. She also serves as counsel to, and an officer of, the non-profit United States Boomerang Association. Ms. Miale-Gix competes in boomerang competitions, and has been the only female member of six USA Boomerang World Cup Teams competing in World Team Cup Championships from 1998 through 2008. She is the four time women’s world individual champion and holds the MTA unlimited world record. She is also a rockhound, hiker, bird watcher and Mariner baseball fan.
ABOUT JANET THOMAN GREEN
Janet Thoman Green received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington School of Law in 2006 and was licensed to practice in Washington the same year. Ms. Green has extensive legal experience prior from her 12 year career as a personal injury paralegal with the law firm of Adler Giersch ps.
Ms. Green is a past Editor-in-Chief of Perspectives, a newsletter for clients, and is a contributing author to the law firm’s monthly newsletter, “The Advocate” dedicated to cutting edge medical-legal-insurance related issues for health care professionals who treat those with personal injury trauma. She is currently co-authoring, “From Injury to Action: Navigating your Personal Injury Claim,” with the law firm’s principal, Richard H. Adler.
Ms. Green currently serves on the Executive Board of the Brain Injury Association of Washington as the Social Security Disability Coordinator. Ms. Green is also an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyer’s Association, serving on the New Member Committee and a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
Ms. Green is a former small business owner, providing writing and research services to Washington businesses, and was a founding member of Parents Attending Law School at the University of Washington.
About E. PAUL GIERSCH, Of Counsel
E. PAUL GIERSCH received his Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1974. His trial experience began with three years as a felony trial attorney with the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. Two more years of trial and appellate experience in the federal courts followed during his tenure as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Giersch moved to Washington in 1980 and continued trial practice in the areas of criminal law, family law, and personal injury . As a founding principal in Adler
Giersch PS in 1983, he has focused exclusively on representation of injured persons. He has also been appointed and served as arbitrator in personal injury cases brought before the Superior Court of King County.
