Scott v. Roberts12/8/2004 ourt. At no time during that appellate process did the State raise the issue of amending the judgment to place the future medical benefits into the Fund. It raised this after it exhausted its appeals on this case. Thus, the provisions of the statute provide us with no procedural vehicle for amending the judgment after the appeals are exhausted.
CONCLUSION
We conclude that the trial court properly denied the State's motion to amend the judgment, as an amendment at this time is procedurally and substantively improper. Costs of the appeal are assigned to the State.
AFFIRMED.
