Fresno Unified School Dist. v. Workers' Compensation Appeals Board11/22/2000 l]; Berger v. Godden (1985) 163 Cal.App.3d 1113, 1119-1120; In re Marriage of Fink (1979) 25 Cal.3d 877.)
The briefing on these last three issues is particularly lacking in substance. FUSD merely argues the WCAB's decision was incorrect and reargues the weight of the evidentiary facts. There is no clear statement of legal error, nor any citation of authority which might assist this court in deciding whether the claimed errors occurred.
" very brief should contain a legal argument with citation of authorities on the points made. If none is furnished on a particular point, the court may treat it as waived, and pass it without consideration. [Citations.]" (9 Witkin, Cal. Procedure, (4th ed. 1996) Appeal, ยง 594, p. 627; see also People v. Ashmus (1991) 54 Cal.3d 932, 985, fn. 15; Duncan v. Ramish (1904) 142 Cal. 686, 689-690.) We are not partisan advocates for either party and therefore will not develop FUSD's arguments for it, even if we were able to determine what those arguments were intended to be. We therefore decline to address the three issues noted above which were stated but not properly discussed or supported by FUSD. (Dills v. Redwoods Assocs., Ltd. (1994) 28 Cal.App.4th 888, 890, fn.1.)
DISPOSITION
