Relator, Sylvia Munoz, asks this Court to issue a writ of mandamus against Respondent, the Honorable Javier Alvarez, Judge of the County Court at Law Number Three of El Paso County. Relator complains that Respondent abused his discretion in denying her Motion to Consolidate. Relator sought to have her medical malpractice lawsuit against Real Party in Interest, Dr. Jose Zamudio, consolidated with Dr. Zamudio's defamation lawsuit against Relator. Relator also sought temporary relief in the form of a stay. After carefully reviewing the matter, we hold that mandamus is inappropriate. Accordingly, we deny the petition and deny any and all other requested relief.
