Anderson v. Nussbaum11/14/2002 laintiff did not appear to be in any abnormal position. He appeared to be properly padded and comfortable. He did not appear hyperabducted or hyperextended. Dr. McBride testified that it was not even possible to hyperextend plaintiff's arms below his shoulders on the operating table in the position hypothesized by plaintiff's expert, Dr. Harrington. Moreover, Dr. McBride did not even believe that hyperextension caused plaintiff's post-operative complaints.
