In light of this opinion, the order on defendant's motion to tax costs entered November 15, 2000, must be reversed and remanded for reconsideration of the validity and reasonableness of the section 998 offer in light of all of the circumstances.
DISPOSITION
The judgment is affirmed; the order on defendant's motion to tax costs dated November 15, 2000, is reversed and remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion. Each party to bear its own costs on appeal.
