July 8, 1998, the date of the decision. To do otherwise, would strip this boy, and others similarly situated, of legitimate claims for damages through no fault of their own or lack of diligence, but solely because this court and others unwittingly misinterpreted the law and our supreme court, for whatever reason equally as legitimate, did not correct the error for nearly thirteen years.
DECREE
Based on the foregoing review of the record, the decision of the trial court is affirmed.
AFFIRMED.
