Siliezar v. East Jefferson General Hospital

1/11/2005

their sessions together to get their stories straight" and that the defense had "concocted a rather amazing mosaic of defenses." In his Reasons for Judgment, the trial judge concluded there was no evidence in the record to support the repeated allegations of coaching, concocting, rehearsing made in plaintiff's post-trial brief. The trial court made its findings after a full hearing on defendant's Motion to Strike in which both parties presented their positions. We find that the trial judge was in the best position to evaluate the professionalism of counsel's conduct. Thus, we find no error in the trial court's judgment finding plaintiff's attorney violated Rule 7 of the Code of Professionalism.

For the foregoing reasons, the judgment appealed is affirmed.

AFFIRMED
