Hajny v. Ag Processing2/15/2005 vidence upon which the judge relies. The decision shall provide the basis for a meaningful appellate review.
In the present case, the trial judge's award was approximately eight pages long. The trial judge made clear findings of fact and identified in detail the evidence in the record upon which those findings were based, literally complying with the requirements that a decision "clearly and concisely state and explain the rationale for the decision" and "specify the evidence upon which the judge relies." See rule 11(A). See, also, Dawes v. Wittrock Sandblasting & Painting, 266 Neb. 526, 667 N.W.2d 167 (2003). It appears that Hajny's assertions that the award in this case is not a well-reasoned opinion stem more from Hajny's disagreement with the trial judge's factual findings than with any failure of the trial judge to provide the basis for meaningful appellate review. This assignment of error is meritless.
V. CONCLUSION
We find no merit to Hajny's assertions on appeal. The trial judge's findings on causation were not clearly wrong, and the order of the review panel is affirmed.
Affirmed.
