I represented a bank president who slipped-and-fell in a clear substance which had been applied on cement stairs in the Louisiana Superdome as a cleaning solvent. The stairs lacked non-skid taping and the substance created an unreasonably dangerous condition of which the Superdome was aware.
The plaintiff suffered a cervical disc herniation as a result of his fall. This case settled for $125,000.00 on the eve of trial.
