$800,000 medical malpractice verdict in Prince George's County, Maryland for the wrongful death of 32 year old woman

Mr. Foret obtained a jury verdict of $800,000 for the parents who lost their 32 year old daughter to medical malpractice. The daughter had been under the care of a pulmonary doctor for shortness of breath. The doctor was negligent because she never ordered the correct test for pulmonary embolism, even after receiving a telephone call from another doctor treating the daughter saying how severe the patient's shortness of breath was. The daughter died 2 days after this phone call from a pulmonary embolus. If the negligent doctor had ordered the correct test pulmonary embolus would have been diagnosed, successfully treated, and the daughter would be alive.
